Welcome to Our New Pass the Torch Staff Member
Pauline Brown graduated from Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto and went on to receive her Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology at UC Merced. Afterwards. She found a job working with high school students and noticed her passion in helping students to achieve their academic goals. Now, she hopes to continue that passion here with us at Pass the Torch and learn from a different perspective in working with college students.

the "Movers of Mountain Award" from us for your excellent contributions to our community,
and for exemplifying the life, legend, legacy, and mission of the beloved, late

Mountain View SOAR Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to Pass the Torch Leader, Trang Le winner of the SOAR (Student Outreach
and Advancement Resource) scholarship from the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.
Trang received a check for $1,500 at the Annual ATHENA Awards and SOAR Scholarship
Luncheon held in Mountain View's Michael's at Shoreline. The $1,500.00 scholarship
donations came thanks to the generous donation of the, Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, First Tech, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, El Camino Hospital, Hotel
Avante, Symantec, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford & Synopsys.
Trang has made Pass the Torch proud with her accomplishments and dedicated work
as a Math Team Leader and Pass the Torch student staff. We wish her continued
success as she continues her education at U.C.L.A. this Fall 2014.
