The highlight of Foothill College's International Education Week celebration, Diversity Day will introduce you to people and cultures from around the world.Check out information on different cultures in the U.S. and across the globe, including art, food, music and more. Diversity Day will be Wednesday, Nov. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Campus Center Dining Room. All visitors can participate in a raffle to win prizes.
Diversity Day is co-sponsored by the International Education Week Planning Committee, Foothill International Programs Office, Associated Students of Foothill College (ASFC), ASFC Activities Board, International Student Connection Club, Hong Kong Student Union, Japanese Culture Club and Foothill Indonesian Club.
A joint initiative by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to promote multicultural awareness and the value of international education, International Education Week is celebrated Nov. 18–22. Foothill College will join hundreds of esteemed institutions by celebrating IEW through this event, as well as the screening of the documentary film "The Fight to Forgive" on Friday, Nov. 22 and the Cultural Performance Competition on Monday, Nov. 18.
