Assemblyman Rich Gordon, 24th District, will present a legislative update on the status of the California Community Colleges on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hearthside Lounge (Room 2313) at Foothill College. Students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend. Admission is free; parking is $3.
In addition to his presentation, Assemblyman Gordon will answer your questions about the budget and its impact on current and potential students at the community colleges, as well as legislation pertaining to all segments of higher education and more.
Assemblyman Gordon represents the 24th Assembly District on the San Francisco Peninsula in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, which includes the communities of Atherton, East Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Menlo Park, Monte Sereno, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, Woodside, and the Almaden Valley of San Jose.
Parking lots 1, 2 and 2A provide stair and no-stair access to the Hearthside Lounge. Visitors must purchase a parking permit for $3 from dispensers in any student parking lot.
