|All International Education Week events are free and open to the public.|
Support multiculturalism and global awareness on campus by participating in one or several events to commemorate International Education Week (IEW): November 18-22! Admission to all IEW events is free and the public is invited to attend.
* Cultural Performance Competition
Watch cultural performances and cheer on your peers! Showcase your culture through music, song, dance, comedy or another medium. All preregistered participants will receive a thank-you gift, and the top three winners will receive prizes.
* Diversity Day
The highlight of IEW, this event will introduce countries and culture in the U.S. and around the world through displays, art, music and more. Meet people from all over the globe and participate in a raffle to win prizes!
* "The Fight to Forgive" Documentary Film Screening
To conclude IEW, we will be screening the documentary film "The Fight to Forgive - From Child Soldiers to Peacebuilders" featuring one of Foothill's own international students!ˇ Following the film screening there will be a Q&A session with the filmmaker Cynthia Travis as well as Foothill's own Varlee Sheriff, the Liberian refugee featured in the film.
