Commencement

Volunteers Needed!

Participating in commencement, or graduation, is one of the most thrilling moments in the lives of many of our students. It is also one of the most rewarding for staff who are dedicating their working lives to helping students achieve their dreams. Each year, staff volunteers are needed to assist the graduates with ceremony participation and to walk with the faculty and staff in the ceremony itself. (You don't need a Master's degree to walk with the faculty, and Romy in the bookstore arranges for complimentary rental of both Bachelor's and Master's gowns for participants.)

If you haven't volunteered before, trust us: you will never forget the excitement, relief, and sheer joy on the faces of hundreds of graduates in Foothill red and black and thousands of parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, children, and friends in attendance. Call or e-mail Tricia Davoren, (650) 949-7282 for more information or to volunteer.
