PHT 200LPHARMACY TECHNICIAN AS A CAREER1 Unit
Introduction to the pharmaceutical sciences and the functions of a pharmacy technician in health care. Role of the pharmacy technician, areas of specialization in the field, technical standards, state registration requirements and employment opportunities.
1 hour lecture. (12 hours total per quarter.)
Advisory: Demonstrated proficiency in English by placement as determined by score on the English placement test OR through an equivalent placement process OR completion of ESLL 25 & ESLL 249.
